About Me
I'm Cheryl Grice, owner and photographer for New Destination Photography.  Usually I work alone, but at larger functions I bring in my apprentice to assist.

My photographic equipment includes several 5-10MP digital cameras.  My Canon Rebel xTi is my camera of choice for most large events, such as birthday parties, corporate events, and weddings.

I've been taking photos for over 40 years, starting with a good old 126 Instamatic, and working my way up through various film of all types - 110, 120,127, even some sheet film - and of course, 35mm film and slides.  I moved primarily to digital photography about 8 years ago, and currently work with my digital cameras to achieve the effects desired by either me or my clients.  When requested, I can also work with my Pentax 35mm SLR camera; however shooting with film is a lot more expensive than working with digital.

I am also an Ordained Wedding Officiant (see New Destination Weddings for more information).

Company history

Although I've been doing photography for the past 40 years, it has primarily been as a hobby until recently.  I receive requests more frequently now to photograph weddings, birthday parties, and corporate events.  I currently do freelance work for Ball Memorial Hospital and Muncie Community Schools, in addition to photographing Weddings, Birthday Parties, Reunions, and other events.

Customer testimonials

"You are such a great photographer!  I love how you capture the feeling of the moment and get those interesting unposed shots that show people as they really are.  I'm definitely going to use your services again when I need you!" - Rebecca
